Meet the host

Hi, I’m Melissa Barboza, mama of four, trauma survivor, and grace-led parenting coach. I know firsthand what it feels like to carry the weight of childhood wounds into motherhood, longing to do better for your children but feeling stuck in patterns you didn’t choose.

That’s why I created the Grace Over Trauma Podcast, a sacred space where we break generational cycles through God’s love and truth. Here, we get real about the hard stuff: healing from the inside out, conscious parenting with Grace, and learning how to calm the chaos in our hearts so we can nurture peace in our homes.

I’m not here to tell you how to raise your kids, I’m here to walk alongside you, sharing biblical wisdom, trauma-informed tools, and spirit-led encouragement to help you parent with intention, not reaction. Together, we’ll lean into God’s grace, rewrite the story, and raise up the next generation with love and freedom.
